The electrified glass

Bend a sheet of paper four times and cut out from it an arrow of such form, as it shown in a picture. Put the centre of the arrow (a point of crossing of two bends) on vertically strengthened needle; be cautious, make sure that the needle not thrust a paper. For most convenient stick the other end of the needle into the stopper. Cover this with a well dried glass. Declare to your friends, that you, without removing a glass and without touching an arrow, will force an arrow to rotate. And even you will order to it to stop on any person, - and it immediately will obey you.

For this purpose it is enough to polish a glass using a woollen rag. A glass - in this place will be electrified, and the arrow will turn to a rag because the electrified glass draws it as a magnet.
