Doggone Goodie Cans

The two Can-nine cutie goodie cans, Salty and Pepe were made with the materials listed below. Look at each sample’s photograph and choose colors and supplies accordingly. You may click on the picture of the individual cans for the necessary patterns. Print out the patterns and trace around. Then cut them out with the color of construction paper shown. Lines of detail were added with black marker. To add glisten to the eyes, simply apply a dot of whiteout. Whiteout was also used to make Salty’s spots on his ears and hair. Materials needed:

  • Empty potato chip canisters
  • Construction paper (white, black, tan, light brown, red, gray and yellow)
  • Tacky white glue
  • Glue stick
  • Black, red & green markers
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Whiteout
